Hey guys! So I just picked up my Grom and I’m loving every second of it. Just a quick question, is it normal during break in for the Grom to have trouble getting past 50mph? It seems to top out around there so far.

I think the idea during break-in is to avoid hard braking. You also want to avoid hard acceleration. Just drive it like you normally would but vary the rpms. Example don't drive it at 35 miles an hour all the time or 65. You want varying conditions to promote even wearing seating of piston rings all that stuff. the break-in guidelines and always perform the pre-ride inspection and other periodic checks in this manual. When service is required, remember that your Honda dealer knows your vehicle best.
